Group Policy Management
Centralized control of users and computers
Written in January 17, 2026
Group Policy is one of the most powerful features of a Windows Server domain. It allows administrators to centrally manage settings like password policies, desktop restrictions, software installation, and security options for hundreds of users and computers at once. In this lab, you will create and link Group Policy Objects (GPOs), apply them to specific Organizational Units, and verify their effects from a client workstation.
You can watch my YouTube video that walks through this Group Policy management lab using VirtualBox.
